www.design-seeds.com

Recently I have come across a very useful website entitled "Design Seeds". It has become one of my most favorite websites to visit daily to become inspired by all things color.

[It's nice to know that I am not the only one who has this obsession].

Sometimes I think I'm crazy because I associate colors with random things. For example, I think Wednesday's color is most definitely purple. Thursday's color is yellow. Monday's is red. It makes sense to me. Since I am obsessed with color and all of it's glory, I decided to do a couple of examples myself. This is what I came up with:

I really enjoyed designing these, I will have more to come!

A New Project

Thursday, January 26, 2012

My latest projects have been focused on one wonderful aspect of wedding design, flowers! Growing up, I always appreciated floral bouquets, centerpieces, wedding arrangements, etc. I thought it would be fun to give in to my curiosity and put a few together. I checked out a few books from the library and gave it a whirl.

This is what I came up with:

Tulip and Daffodil Table Centerpiece:

This first example was influenced by my image of Spring. I think that it would be the perfect addition to any table setting or end table. It adds the right amount of color to any dull room. It is the perfect spring arrangement to bring a smile to your face and a sweet perfume to any room. Pink and yellow, the perfect combination. The addition of lemons, grapefruit, and M&Ms to the arrangement give it a natural appearance and a welcoming appeal

A Winter Wedding Bouquet

My second arrangement was based on a winter style themed wedding. My image of this wedding would take place at night in a setting of antique lanterns and candle light. For some reason the beauty of the winter seems more beautiful to me. I just love how some of the flowers droop over and fall  just like the snow.

My Purpose

Ever since I can remember, I have fallen in love with love. This blog is dedicated to just that, love. Love for design, love for your work, but most importantly, love for yourself.
